Summer is in full swing. Many of us find ourselves wondering: what if we headed to the Hel Peninsula and stayed at one of the campsites there? It is precisely the history of their development that formed the basis for a model of coastal evolution under tourism pressure, as well as for identifying gaps and weaknesses in current knowledge on coastal zone management.

Nadmorski Park Krajobrazowy), the Maritime Institute of Gdynia Maritime University (pol. Instytut Morski Uniwersytetu Morskiego w Gdyni), and Ludong University, in Land Use Policy.
It is also worth noting that our student Anastazja Mastylak is a co-author of the paper: she carried out the GIS analyses for the study as part of her professional internship at our Department. Once again, our students are publishing with us!
