For years we have been working with the Student Research Group of Geographers (pol. Studenckie Koło Naukowe Geografów UG, SKNG), helping students organize great scientific events, develop their passions, and encourage future researchers to follow in our footsteps. Recently we had the privilege of taking part in the University of Gdańsk Open Days (pol. „Dni Otwarte Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego”) and the Geographer’s Night (pol. „Noc Geografa”), where we gave talks and ran laboratory workshops. Since the beginning of 2026, in cooperation with our department, SKNG has been carrying out a project on closed depressions in the Tricity Landscape Park (pol. Trójmiejski Park Krajobrazowy), funded under the Fahrenheit Masters of Cooperation competition (pol. Mistrzowie Współpracy Fahrenheita).
Maurycy Żarczyński has been the academic advisor of SKNG since 2025, and Aleksandra Orłowska has served as assistant advisor since October 2025.
