Alicja Bonk has been invited to join the scientific committee of the Central European Wildfire Symposium, an international meeting to be held on March 17–18, 2027, at TUD Dresden University of Technology (Technische Universität Dresden) as part of the Interreg Wildfire CE project.
Interreg Wildfire CE is an international cooperation project aimed at better preparing Central Europe for the growing threat of landscape fires under a changing climate.
The symposium will bring together researchers from Central and Northern Europe working in fields such as climate science, ecology, forestry, fire modeling, and risk management. Members of the scientific committee are responsible for the scientific quality of the event and for its program, which makes us all the more pleased that Alicja will help shape this conference.
