As every year in May, we set off with second-year geography students for the “Uplands and Mountains” (pol. Wyżyny i góry) field course. From May 11 to 16, we explored the Kłodzko Valley together – from the foothills and mountain interiors to the peaks and summits, and everything in between! After many years, the final day of the course was modified. We bid farewell (for now) to Mount Ślęża, and in its place visited the beautiful Torfowisko pod Zieleńcem nature reserve, as well as the philumeny museum in Bystrzyca Kłodzka – things got heated!
We thank our Students for their enthusiasm and excellent poster presentations! We hope the week spent with us was well worth it. The course was led by Krzysztof Kopeć from the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakub Malicki from the Department of Hydrology, and on our side – Maurycy Żarczyński.
