On May 14, we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Torsten Habberzettl from the University of Greifswald (Germany) at our departmental seminar. During his talk, entitled “Unlocking Climate Archives on the Roof of the World: From Multi-Lake Studies to an ICDP Deep Drilling” Torsten shared his experiences and findings from the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP Deep Drilling) conducted in the Tibetan Plateau region.
