Wildfires are a “burning” issue that we face more and more often. Alicja Bonk gave an interview to Nauka w Polsce (pol. “Science in Poland”), the science news service of the Polish Press Agency (PAP), in which she commented on the fires that recently affected southern Poland. In the same interview, Ala also offered a look into the past of these phenomena, drawing on a publication on fire reconstruction based on sediments from Lake Gorzyńskie (pol. Jezioro Gorzyńskie). It is a real pleasure to see our colleagues featured as experts in nationwide media!
