April is a busy month for geography-related events. One of them is the annual Noc Geografa — Geographer’s Night (held this year on April 16), organized by the Student Geographical Research Club of the University of Gdańsk, with which we collaborate closely. This year’s edition was aimed at high school students preparing for their final exams (pol. egzamin maturalny/egzamin dojrzałości), with the goal of consolidating and reinforcing their geography knowledge ahead of the big day. The event consistently attracts considerable interest — this year’s edition welcomed over 170 participants.
One of the organizers was our doctoral student Aleksandra Orłowska, who also serves as assistant faculty advisor of the Geography Student Scientific Association (SKNG). Our doctoral student Miłosz Majerowski also contributed, leading a thematic session on the lithosphere and endogenic and exogenic processes.
We wish all exam candidates the best of luck, and we warmly encourage them to consider studying geography at our Faculty!
