On Friday, April 17, Wojciech Tylmann participated in the first edition of an online lecture series organized by the Polish Limnological Society (pol. Polskie Towarzystwo Limnologiczne), titled “Closer to Lakes” (pol. „Bliżej jezior”). His talk, titled “Paleolimnological Time Travels: How Has Temperature Changed in the Masurian Lake District Over the Past 10,000 Years?” (pol. „Paleolimnologiczne podróże w czasie, czyli jak zmieniała się temperatura na Mazurach w ostatnich 10 tysiącach lat”), presented – naturally – the results of temperature reconstructions based on sediments from Lake Żabińskie. The lecture attracted nearly 90 attendees.
