We hadn’t been there before! A three-person delegation from our department arrived in Wellington, New Zealand. Between 25 and 30 January, Alicja Bonk, Karol Tylmann and Wojciech Tylmann took part in the International Sedimentological Congress (ISC).
Alicja, Karol and Wojtek delivered three presentations in total and co‑authored several others. Moreover, Alicja co‑chaired the session “Varved and high-resolution lacustrine sequences as records of climate change, anthropogenic impact and extreme events”.
