Kierownik Katedry
I am a physical geographer, and my primary area of interest is paleolimnology. Most of my work focuses on annually laminated lake sediments and their fascinating potential for reconstructing natural and anthropogenic environmental changes. In my research, I utilize sedimentological, geochronological, and geochemical methods. Currently, I am involved in several projects aimed at understanding the mechanisms of varve formation in lakes, archiving climate signals in lake sediments, and reconstructing environmental changes in northeastern Poland.
