About me

I hold a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in oceanography, specializing in marine geology, both completed at the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography at the University of Gdańsk. Currently, together with the team from the Geomorphological Reconstruction Laboratory, I am conducting research for my doctoral project, which focuses on geophysical and geochemical indicators of weathering processes in tills from the last glaciation. My main goal is to determine the type and degree of elemental migration within the till weathering profile and to assess their relationship with changes in mineral and petrographic composition.

Additionally, I am interested in the influence of bedrock on the natural radioactivity of Pleistocene glacial tills and the soils that develop on them. Our research is carried out in Poland, Denmark (on the island of Bornholm), Finland, Latvia, and Estonia.

My teaching activities include conducting field courses for second- and third‑year geography students: “Regional Field Classes – Europe” and “Field Classes – Geomorphology.”
