I’m a palaeoecologist specializing in palynological analysis, which I’m applying to reconstruct environmental changes based on lake sediments and peat deposits. My research focuses on the impact of human activity on vegetation dynamics over the past 2,000 years. I conduct fieldwork primarily in Poland and Germany, with recent projects extending to Western Siberia and Greenland.
In my teaching role, I lecture in the Geography and Physical Geography with Geoinformation programs. My courses include Biogeography, Soil Science and Soil Geography, and Environmental Reconstructions.
