16th Young Geomorphologists’ Workshop – Toruń 2025

From September 22 to 24, Karol Tylmann, Maurycy Żarczyński, and our students – Magdalena Bolek and Anastazja Mastylak – took part in the 16th Young Geomorphologists’ Workshop held in Toruń. The local geomorphologists, both young and more experienced, organized the event at the highest level. Both organizers and participants ensured a great atmosphere and an engaging program.

During the workshop, Karol introduced young geomorphology enthusiasts to the available grant opportunities and shared tips on how to prepare a successful application. This was the first edition formally supported by the Commission on Innovative Research Methods in Geomorphology, operating within the Association of Polish Geomorphologists. Maurycy presented the association’s activities and the involvement of young geomorphologists at both national and international levels.
