New research findings on environmental changes in western Poland have just been published in the journal Catena. The studies conducted by Ala Bonk and co-authors reveal the response of Lake Lubińskie to increasing human activity in the region over the last 3,000 years. The reconstruction was based on a multi-proxy analysis (sediment lithology, geochemistry, palynology, diatoms) of the varved sediments of Lake Lubińskie. Enjoy the read!
